A DIN-standard, handle-controlled single-point lock for solid doors. The outside handle can be released electrically, while the inside handle retains mechanical egress; mechanical cylinder opening remains available.

EL560 combines controlled entry from the outside with mechanical egress from the inside. Access control devices such as readers, timers, keypads or push buttons can release the outside handle.
The outside handle is electrically controlled by the selected access-control logic.
The inside handle remains mechanically operable for a clear exit function.
Mechanical opening by a compatible cylinder remains possible.
The lock is intended for solid doors and medium-traffic applications. ABLOY documentation states that compatible configurations can be used for emergency, panic and fire-rated doors, subject to complete system approval. It is not suitable for door automation.
